Mashed Potatoes

An easy, fluffy side dish that will be ready in no time!

Wash and scrub potatoes (if skin on; peel after boiling/cooled if you prefer no skin). Place into pot with cold salted water.

  • Boil for 15-20 minutes.
  • Drain and mash in pot.
  • In a small saucepan, melt butter.
  • Stir in heat half & half, and measured seasonings.
  • Combine mixture with the cooked potatoes.
  • Serve immediately.

2-3 lbs russet potatoes
¾ cup half & half
¼ cup unsalted butter
½ tbsp. kosher salt
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp white pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 dash nutmeg

Instructions

Wash and scrub potatoes. Place into pot with cold salted water. Boil for 15-20 minutes.

Drain and mash in pot.

Serve immediately.
