An easy, fluffy side dish that will be ready in no time!
Wash and scrub potatoes (if skin on; peel after boiling/cooled if you prefer no skin). Place into pot with cold salted water.
- Boil for 15-20 minutes.
- Drain and mash in pot.
- In a small saucepan, melt butter.
- Stir in heat half & half, and measured seasonings.
- Combine mixture with the cooked potatoes.
- Serve immediately.
Mashed Potatoes

2-3 lbs russet potatoes
¾ cup half & half
¼ cup unsalted butter
½ tbsp. kosher salt
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp white pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 dash nutmeg
